Rachael K. Hinkle is a professor in the Department of Political Science at the University at Buffalo
and a member of the advisory council for the Baldy Center for Law and Social Policy. Her research
agenda focuses on judicial politics with particular attention to gleaning insights through the use
of computational text analytic techniques. Dr. Hinkle earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from
Washington University in St. Louis after completing a J.D. with high distinction at Ohio Northern
University and clerking for federal judges in both the District of Arizona and the Sixth Circuit.
